Thanks from With Banners Held High

A message from Sue W, secretary WBHH:

Just back from Unity+Works where all is eerily back to normal – made me wonder how long it’ll take our lives to do that?

What a day, eh? And that’s all down to everybody pulling together to make WBHH 2016 a great success –  so a big thank you from me to all the speakers from far and wide, the poets, musicians, film-makers, stallholders, designers, photographers, our great audience, staff at Unity and all the lovely volunteers.

But pardon me if I keep my biggest thanks for ‘mon mari merveilleux’, Granville, without whom there would have been no show to put on the road!  His has been the inspiration and the driving force behind this event, and I so admire his determination, creativity, tirelessness, calm, patience and belief that all would come well in the end – and it did! I am so very proud of him – I think he truly deserved the medal that Daniel gave him yesterday.
