How they Rewrote the Law at Orgreave
The link below is to a pdf scan of an article that appeared in the Guardian on August 12th 1985 by Gareth Peirce who was a solicitor for 11 of the miners charged with riot after Orgreave. What he described as rewriting the law almost 30 years ago can be seen in the way that the police operate today.
