Gleaming glass.
Steel sheet sides,
Fibre glass.
Car park to the rear.

Company’s name stands out all too clear,
Prettily primed privet
Aluminium lights
Reception seats far too bright.

Call centres are the new pits

Not pick, pick, pick

The replacement bus service
Second best
Post-industrial living
Promises left unkept
Getting verbally abused daily
Takes its toll on you, n maybe
This isn’t the career you had in mind.
But when the rents due there no other work to find.
