Since being established in 2012, the Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign (OTJC) has pressed for an inquiry into the events of 18th June 1984 at the Orgreave Coking Plant, South Yorkshire. 95 miners were arrested and charged with riot and unlawful assembly. All were acquitted when the Prosecution offered no evidence after 48 days of jury trial the following year. No one has ever been held to account over what happened. OTJC has received great support from the Labour Party and this year made it from campaign to party policy, being included in the 2017 Manifesto. Please attend our free Fringe event but please be aware places are limited and first come first served.
