The research looks at eight case study pits: Tower, Prince of Wales, Markham (Derbyshire), Easington, Annesley-Bentinck, Barony, Bickershaw and Point of Ayr. They are doing oral histories as part of the project and some people on this list have already taken part. If there is anyone else who worked at one of those pits and would like to be part of the project (or knows someone who did) they would be interested to hear from you.
