TRADE UNION GENERAL SECRETARY ELECTIONS

The Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign has enjoyed massive support from across the Trade Union movement since we were formed almost 9 years ago. As such we do not think it would be appropriate for us to choose to support one left candidate over another left candidate in any of the General Secretary elections currently taking place in some of the UK’s leading Unions. Individuals in our campaign will obviously be making a personal choice over which candidate they choose to support. However this will not represent any endorsement from the Orgreave Campaign. We will continue to campaign for truth and justice and we look forward to building on the already strong links made across our great movement.
