Brenda Procter

Our beloved sister & comrade, Brenda Procter, sadly passed away yesterday. She was a great fighter for Justice for the mining community, an active member of Women Against Pit Closures for over 30 years and elected Chair of National Women Against Pit Closures in 2003. She was a proud Stokie, a Socialist, trade unionist, anti-racist and anti-fascist and an inspiration to us all.
