Orgreave Halloween

The Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign includes ex-miners, Trade Unionists, activists and others who are determined to get justice for miners who were victims of police lies and cover ups at Orgreave in June 1984.

 

The campaign is strictly non-party political and welcomes support from anyone who has genuine concerns about the pattern of deception and cover up that characterised police behaviour not only at Orgreave but throughout the coalfields during the 1984/5 Miners’ strike. 31st October 2018 (Halloween) will be the second anniversary of the Conservative Government’s refusal to launch an inquiry into the police riot at Orgreave on June 18th 1984 where innocent Miners were “Beaten up, Fitted up and Locked up”. The Orgreave Campaign aims to mark this occasion by creating our biggest ever “Twitter Storm” on Halloween. Please find attached our custom made Jpegs and Gifs for use on both Facebook and Twitter. We are encouraging all our supporters to Tweet the Home Secretary demanding Justice for Orgreave.
