The theme of the day will be ‘A Land Fit For Heroes?’ considering the aftermath of World War One from the perspective of the working class, trade unions and Labour Movement as a whole and by harnessing contemporary social and political injustices as comparison, WBHH will explore how the fundamental issues which were present within the inter-war period, are still visible today.
