Thursday 18 June 5.30pm

We are having a local rally out at The Old Bridge, Top End, just off Handsworth rd, Thursday 18th June, 5.30pm to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the events of that day when 95 miners were arrested and charged with riot and unlawful assembly.

Please try to get there.  We set it for teatime so people who are working hopefully can come along and we want to try and get ITV Calendar BBC Look North coverage. We can have some social time together by going to Whitbys Fish Restaurant afterwards.

Speakers:
Craig and Mick Oldham reading from ‘In Loving Memory of Work’.
Tosh MacDonald ASLEF President
Louise Hague Labour MP Sheffield Heeley
Barbara Jackson OTJC Secretary
